The Vistelar methodology focuses first on “non-escalation” with foundational teaching elements grounded in empathy and trauma informed principles, putting patient care at the center to improve everyday interactions before they escalate. The training also focuses on mental and physical pre-encounter preparation steps that are proven to help reduce the opportunities for patient or staff harm during response to moments of escalation or aggression.  

Training For: Security supervision, Emergency Department staff, Behavior Health staff, and Urgent care staff.

Individuals requiring Visterlar Basic certification will attend from Sept. 15th - 18th, 2025. 

Individuals requiring Vistelar Advanced TtT will attend from Sept. 15th - 19th, 2025.
