Weapons Detection System Train-the-Trainer

As part of this commitment, the Passive Weapons Detection System from Athena has been added to the Prohibited Items Detection Program. This state-of-the-art technology enhances security screening in the Emergency Department while minimizing disruption to patients, visitors, and staff.

This training is designed to equip front-line security personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively operate the passive weapons detection system. It also covers best practices for screening using a hand-held metal detector and conducting visual searches in a professional and respectful manner.
