The Vistelar methodology focuses first on “non-escalation” with foundational teaching elements grounded in empathy and trauma informed principles, putting patient care at the center to improve everyday interactions before they escalate. The training also focuses on mental and physical pre-encounter preparation steps that are proven to help reduce the opportunities for patient or staff harm during response to moments of escalation or aggression.  

Who should attend: Requested by Supervisor. 

Pre-Requisite: KP Learn ModulePrevention of Workplace Violence - Vistelar Conflict Management Module. (Basic Vistelar 8 hour).
