This specialized course is designed to prepare First Responder Operators (FRO) to manage biological emergencies with confidence, competence, and care. Attendees will gain critical knowledge and practical skills for using and managing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), understanding their role during high-stress events, and ensuring safety for themselves and others.

Course Topics Include:

• Emergency Management & Response Protocols
• Access, Crowd, and Traffic Control
• Our Role in an Emergency
• R.A.I.N. Concept (Recognize, Avoid, Isolate, Notify)
• Hand Hygiene Standards
• Proper Donning and Doffing of PPE

This training directly supports BCI’s commitment to safety, professionalism, and responsible intervention. All attendees will leave better equipped to protect themselves, patients, and the community in emergency biological scenarios.

Join our 16-hour annual refresher course designed specifically for Advanced Security Program employees who need to complete mandatory compliance training. This course reinforces essential skills, updates on current protocols, and ensures alignment with organizational safety standards.

Course Topics Include:

• Conflict Management & De-escalation Techniques

   

• Proper Use and Maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

   

• Emergency Management & Response Procedures

   

• Annual Compliance Attestations and Policy Reviews

Who Should Attend: All Advanced Security Program employees required to complete annual refresher training

Pre-Requisite: None

We will be hosting a Physical Ability Test (PAT) to ensure Healthcare Protection Officer employees meet the required standards for duty readiness.

What to Expect

• A series of physical tasks designed to measure strength, endurance, and mobility.
• Testing will take approximately 30–45 minutes.
• Please arrive in appropriate athletic clothing and footwear

Preparation Tips

• Stay hydrated and get adequate rest before the test.
• Review the test requirements in advance to ensure readiness.

Who Should Attend: HPO employees are due for their annual PAT test.
