Preparing Armed Protection Officers for the Unique Challenges of the Healthcare Environment

This essential course is designed to prepare new security team members for the critical responsibilities of being a healthcare security professional. You’ll gain a strong foundation in healthcare-specific protocols, emergency response procedures, and the unique expectations of operating in a patient-centered environment.

Course Topics Include:

  • Your role as a first responder to high-level threats (e.g., Code Silver: weapon involvement)      
  • Managing and reporting criminal activity in healthcare settings
