Equipping Security Teams to Respond Safely and Effectively in Biological Emergencies

This specialized course is designed to prepare First Responder Operators (FRO) to manage biological emergencies with confidence, competence, and care. Attendees will gain critical knowledge and practical skills for using and managing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), understanding their role during high-stress events, and ensuring safety for themselves and others.

Course Topics Include:

  • Emergency Management & Response Protocols
  • Access, Crowd, and Traffic Control
  • Our Role in an Emergency
  • R.A.I.N. Concept (Recognize, Avoid, Isolate, Notify)
  • Hand Hygiene Standards
  • Proper Donning and Doffing of PPE

This training directly supports BCI’s commitment to safety, professionalism, and responsible intervention. All attendees will leave better equipped to protect themselves, patients, and the community in emergency biological scenarios.
