They will learn how to document events as incidents or activities, the new category classifications, proper report standards, navigation of the CORE system, and their role in incident management. Please use the employee’s email address to ensure they receive all communications related to their training session.
See below who needs to be registered for which training session. For questions, please find more information and points of contact at the Core Transition Page.
o SOC team member and data-entry roles: must be registered for the Core Electronic Form session.
o Trainer roles: can be scheduled for same class as Officers for now. Will be scheduled for Train-the-Trainer sessions in a date to be determined and coordinated by the national training team.
o Managers, Assistant Managers, Supervisors: any roles that will be reviewing and approving incident reports must be registered for the Core Electronic Form class.
o Officers and other roles: must be registered for the Core Electronic Form training session if they utilize a computer or device for Incident Reporting. Even if your Officers don’t currently produce incident reports, they must understand the categories and processes as part of operations.
