																										Train-the-Trainer: Non-Escalation, De-Escalation & Crisis Management
Address the entire spectrum of human conflict — before it escalates.
This 8-hour refresher course is designed for previously certified trainers to reinforce and sharpen their conflict management skills. Based on the proven Vistelar Methodology, this session empowers participants to continue leading effective, compassionate responses to conflict within their teams—ranging from verbal disagreements to physical aggression.
Certification Scope: Upon successful completion, participants will be certified to conduct drills, hip pocket trainings, huddles, and skills labs. This certification enables trainers to reinforce learning through hands-on practice and real-time coaching within their departments.
What You’ll Learn: • The full spectrum of non-escalation and de-escalation techniques • Trauma-informed communication rooted in empathy and patient-centered care • Mental and physical pre-encounter preparation for high-stress situations • How to reduce the risk of harm to both patients and staff during moments of escalation • Instructional strategies to teach these skills effectively to others in your department
Why This Matters: Conflict happens — but with the right tools, it can be prevented or managed safely. This Train-the-Trainer session enables your organization to build internal capacity for consistent, compassionate, and effective crisis response, all while keeping patient care at the center.
