It puts patient care at the center to improve everyday interactions before they escalate. The training also focuses on mental and physical pre-encounter preparation steps that are proven to help reduce the opportunities for patient or staff harm during response to moments of escalation or aggression. This version focuses on the role of Healthcare Emergency Department Specialists and the interactions they encounter in their daily work.

Pre-Requisite: For this class - Attendees must have completed the 8-hour Basic Vistelar class within 30 days prior to this class.
