with Jeanette Bobadilla

Calendar Jul 15, 2025 at 11 am

This course is designed to align all staff that utilizes a paper form for Incident Reporting with the National Security Services new standards and expectations. Attendees will learn how to document events as incidents or activities, the new category classifications, proper report writing standards, and their role in incident management. Please use the employee’s email address to ensure they receive all communications related to their training session.

See below who needs to be registered for which training session. For questions, please find more information and points of contact at the Core Transition Page.

SOC team member and data-entry roles: must be registered for the Core Electronic Form session (please exit this registration and select the Electronic Form training session).

Trainer roles: can be scheduled for same class as Officers for now. Will be scheduled for Train-the-Trainer sessions in a date to be determined and coordinated by the national training team.

Managers, Assistant Managers, Supervisors: any roles that will be reviewing and approving incident reports must be registered for the Core Electronic Form class (please exit this registration and select the Electronic Form training session).

Officers and other roles: must be registered for the Core Paper Form training session if they write incident reports manually. Even if your Officers don’t currently produce incident reports, they must understand the categories and processes as part of operations. The only security staff members that can skip this training are roles that don’t play any role in incident management (example: most System Administrators).
